In essence, the government has been able to produce artificial news segments and sell them to local news stations as real news. Given the fact that there is no recognition of the fact that the government created these video news releases, I see this as a completely manipulative and deceitful form of propaganda. I'm having a really hard time seeing how propaganda can be used for good, and I'm sure there are people out there who disagree with me. Any comments or remarks to this post are welcome.

Michigan Trip

Hey, I have had a crazy week/weekend. On Sunday I flew 6 hours to Goshen, IN, and on Monday, I flew 9.6 hours back home. Logging 15.6 hours of cross-country flight over two days with less that 12 cumulative hours of sleep from Saturday night through Monday has completely drained my body, and I am slowly coasting towards spring break. I have posted a beautiful photograph from the trip, and I would like to give the photographer, Aduma Mitchell, for capturing such a clean image in the midst of some rather severe turbulence. My research project is next on my priority list, and research notes are soon to come. Have an excellent spring break.

-Eric

Southern Indiana Sunset
